Safe-Start Supplement
A service design intervention to reduce supplement anxiety when taking it for the first time to improve symptom visibility and support clinical decision-making.

Project Overview
Designed a Safe-Start supplement trial experience to reduce client anxiety and improve clinical visibility during early supplement intake by reimagining symptom logging as a low-effort hybrid service that blends physical tools with digital escalation flows, while aligning client experience, care team triaging to enable safer, clearer, and more scalable preventive care.
Duration: 6 Weeks
My Role: Service Designer - Led end-to-end service design from insight synthesis to concept and system design, translating clinical, operational, and user needs into an integrated trial-pack, app flow, and tracking experience. Facilitated co-creation with doctors and health coaches, designed the service blueprint, and defined product, UX, and packaging requirements to drive adherence, safety, and learning.
Organisation: Amura Health. AI, Chennai
Challenge
Clients are introduced to multiple supplements at once through large bulk deliveries, leading to confusion, low adherence, limited understanding of purpose, and poor symptom tracking. Any adverse reaction often results in wasted products and missed clinical insights.
Outcome
A Safe-Start supplement trial system was designed combining an advent-style physical trial pack, a low-effort digital/physical symptom tracker. This approach simplifies symptom reporting for clients while enabling structured, timely escalation and review by care team, improving safety, clarity, and care coordination..
